Where that number comes from
- It starts at 60 before you have answered anything. That is a starting point, not a guess about you.
- Every answer moves it, weighted by how recently you answered. Work from the last fortnight counts roughly double work from a month ago.
- The ± band is how sure it is, not how well you did. It narrows as you answer more questions and cover more topics, and it will not narrow just because you are doing well.
- No number at all until you have worked 100 questions. Before that there is not enough to say anything honest.
What it is not. Nobody has checked this against real score notices yet, including us. It is a measurement of your work in this bank, not a prediction validated against the exam. When enough people send us their score notices, that comparison gets published whether it flatters us or not.

Where these numbers come from
Prices and question counts as advertised on becker.com, accounting.uworld.com and gleim.com, August 2026. Those are list prices; several providers discount 30 to 35% nearly year round, and if a course is always on sale then the sale price is the price. Becker states 8,000+ MCQs and 500+ simulations on the Advantage package; UWorld states 9,000+ and 500+; Gleim states 12,000+ and 1,200+. Check current terms before buying anything, including ours.
Becker and Gleim finance the full course price rather than selling a cancellable subscription, so stopping payment does not stop the bill. Maxwell and SuperfastCPA, not compared here, do sell real monthly subscriptions.
NINJA figures from ninjacpareview.com, August 2026. Their Supplement is $67 a month and is the tier compared here; they also sell a Full Course at $87 a month with lectures, notes, audio and flashcards, which is a different product from a question bank. Both are monthly only and give you one exam section at a time, switchable every 30 days. Gleim's Mega Test Bank is listed at $999 for 12,000+ MCQs, 1,200+ simulations and 18 months of access, on gleim.com, August 2026. Their per-section counts run from 503 MCQs and 11 simulations for ISC up to 2,093 MCQs for BAR and 108 simulations for FAR. Becker's 8,000+ MCQ and 400+ simulation counts are the ones stated on becker.com's own course page; several review sites quote higher simulation figures that Becker does not publish itself.
Becker Concierge lists at $6,349 and was $4,999 in August 2026; Becker also sells tutoring at $149 an hour to students who own a course. Gleim Premium ($2,999) includes a personal counselor and Premium Pro ($3,499) adds an AI tutor. UWorld does not sell 1-on-1 tutoring on the Elite-Unlimited tier compared here.

Is ChatCPA legit? Here is how to check.
Every claim below is verifiable by someone who has never given us an email address. Where the honest answer is "we do not know yet," it says so.
Who runs it, and can that be verified?
Nicholas Miller, Oregon CPA licence #14907. The licence is public: it is listed on CPAverify, the national database the state boards report into, independently of anything on this site. ChatCPA is a registered Oregon LLC. There is one person accountable for the content of this bank and he is named on every page.
AI wrote the questions. Are they any good?
Judge them rather than take our word for it. Sixty questions are published in full, ten from every exam section, with the keyed answer and a separate written rationale under each wrong choice. No email, no signup, nothing withheld. One question that was wrong is published there too, with the reason it was pulled.
How do you know the AI content was checked?
Because the rejections are published, not just the survivors. The pipeline made 28,256 build attempts and deleted 10,227 of them, a 36.2% discard rate. Every attempt is in three downloadable logs, each with a SHA-256 so the file you read is the file we published: the March 2026 question build (26,162 rows), the August 2026 question build (1,150 rows), and the simulation build (944 rows). They sum to 28,256 with no unpublished remainder. The logs and the method are here.
Does it work? What is the pass rate?
We do not publish one, because we have not collected the data. No CPA review course publishes independently verified candidate outcome data, including this one; several publish self-reported figures without a methodology. What exists here is one documented case, disclosed as such: the founder passed after failing twice, and the dated Oregon Board score notices are published on this site. That is provenance, not proof, and it is stated that way everywhere it appears.
What happens when you get a question wrong?
We pay for it. Find a question in the paid bank whose keyed answer is wrong under the law date it states, be the first to report it, and you are paid $50 per verified question, you keep your access, and the correction is published in the changelog with your name if you want the credit. The binding terms are here. Every correction we have ever made is in the changelog, including defects found by outside reviewers and claims removed for lacking evidence.
What does it cost to find out for yourself?

What is it not, and who should not buy it?
There are no video lectures anywhere on this site, on purpose. If you learn from lectures, buy a lecture course; this is not a substitute for one and does not claim to be.
